Evidence Brief: What Works in Alcohol Treatment for Aboriginal People?

As part of supporting data-driven decision-making, BBY has developed a range of evidence briefs. These briefs are available on our website, and draw on local consultations and priorities, and seek the most relevant data and research to support robust discussion and quality decisions.

Regional Alcohol Reform is a priority in the Regional Development Agenda and ACCO-led AOD treatment services are critical. Last year, Empowered Communities East Kimberley developed an evidence briefing on Alcohol treatment to stimulate a discussion on treatment services in East Kimberley. The evidence brief recommends a few measures that can help treat alcohol and drug abuse by our local people.
