Community Engagement: Kalumburu ‘Path By the River’

BBY Office mob recently travelled to Kalumburu to discuss the Empowered Communities East Kimberley (ECEK) model and the benefits of being a part of the ECEK network with Kalumburu leaders. Part of this engagement was consulting with leaders, community members & young people on Joint Decision Making (JDM). 

JDM brings together Community voices to influence Government-funded programs, ensuring that investment meets the needs of our people in the region.

Excellent leadership, vision and accountability were evident in all individuals & agencies working to achieve community outcomes.
