The Role

The Connected Beginnings Community Engagement Worker will play an important role in improving access to early childhood, education, child and maternal health and family support services for local children and families. The role will include community engagement, communications and facilitation of key tasks to support an Aboriginal-led community action plan in the East Kimberley.

About You

The Connected Beginnings Community Engagement Worker will play an important role in improving access to early childhood, education, child and maternal health and family support services for local children and families. The role will include community engagement, communications and facilitation of key tasks to support an Aboriginal-led community action plan in the East Kimberley.

You will have a proven record of community engagement and/or community development work; excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills; experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the ability to manage communications for the organisation.
